I love the look of black and red together! This is a card made for our large OWH Card Making Party that I hosted last fall. I think it makes a good masculine card as well.

Children's Cards
Today, I would like to share some cards made for OWH for kids! I can't even begin to imagine how hard it would be to be away from your children during deployment, so I was thinking fun and bright!
These were all cut with a Cricut machine. Hopefully they gave some child a smile for a day!

Clean and Simple Card Class - Day Seven
Plainly White - today's challenge! I had to think outside the box as I did not have textured white cardstock or butterfly dies. I think this one will be my card kit for our Operation Write Home card making the end of the month!
Clean and Simple Card Class - Day Six
Today's challenge was simple embellishments. Circles are folded and put together to form a flower-like highlight.

Clean and Simple Card Class - Day Five
Day Five was a bit challenging as I did not have some of the same materials used in the example. I used regular cardstock instead of watercolor paper and a mixture of alcohol/Stampin' Up All Purpose Ink instead of the Inkessentials Mister.
The first card, I did not use the spray.
The third try (the second didn't make it past the trash can) I did use the mister. The effect is hard to see in the picture, but there is a nice sheen in the ink.

The stamps are Hero Arts/Operation Write Home Year Round Sentiments. The inks are Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Dusty Concord, Vintage Photo and Faded Jeans.

Clean and Simple Card Class - Day Four
Working on black is something new and different for me. This is good for pushing me outside my normal habits!

Clean and Simple Card Class - Day Three
Here is my version of day three's CAS card. I used the Paper Lace Cartridge (Cricut) and the sentiment is Hero Arts for Operation Write Home. Day two's card is currently alluding me.....
